Sheshanaga is known to be the king of snakes, he is one of the prime creations. According to mythology, he clasps all planets of the universe on his hoods while singing the glories of Lord Vishnu. Shesha is also the disciple of Ishvara, the one who is eternal and immortal. He possesses the power of the sun. Therefore there is a hearsay that the sound of the sun is ‘om’– the element which Ishwar chants, the element which is unknown.
